This Halloween the AZ Pro Arte Orchestra will provide the accompaniment for the terrifying 1922 German Expressionist Film, Nosferatu- a dark tale based on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Hans Erdmann’s original score has long been lost, so director Timothy Verville rose to the occasion and created a new setting of music by Dvorak, Brahms and Wagner to frame the film. AZ Pro Arte’s Composer-in-Residence, Christopher Norby, has also contributed original music for several of the film’s scenes. Christopher Norby joins K-Bach's Jane Hilton.
Call Me Debbie—True Confessions of a Down-to-earth Diva, by Deborah Voight, Harper, 2015 "...you’ll come away from this book not only loving Voights artistry and talent, but also loving her as a person, and admiring her for going through this ring of fire and coming out the other side. After reading this memoir, Debbie’s more than a talented Diva—she’s family." --Randy Kinkel, KBAQ (Meet Debbie at Changing Hands bookstore at 3 pm Feb 15th!)
