Philippe Quint: "Clapping is not a crime!"

Violinist Philippe Quint wants you to know it’s OK to applaud between movements. “It’s actually not a crime,” said Quint, who recently played with the Phoenix Symphony. “It’s a way for people to show appreciation. And in some pieces, like the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, how do you not clap after the first movement? Seriously, you have to push yourself not to clap.”  Phillippe is just one of the New Generation of Classical musicians we've added to the playlist on 89.5 K-BACH!
