KBAQ Metropolitan Opera Giveaway

You'll have a chance to win two tickets to a future live performance of the Metropolitan Opera in fall 2010. Included in the giveaway are two nights accommodations (a Friday and a Saturday) for two at a nearby hotel, two-roundtrip coach airline tickets courtesy of US Airways and two tickets to the Metropolitan Opera (program and day TBD).

Rules

The KBAQ Met Opera Giveaway begins Friday, February 26th, 2010 at 12:00 Noon MST and concludes Saturday, February 27th, 2019 at 4:00 PM MST. KBAQ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries received by 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 27th, 2010. KBAQ will conduct the drawing Monday, March 1st, 2010 and will announce the winner on Tuesday March 2nd, 2010 during the broadcast of the Mozart Buffet beginning at noon and online on KBAQ.ORG.

There is no purchase or donation necessary. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter

Anyone 18 years and older can participate between 12:00 Noon, Friday, February 26th, 2010 and 4:00 PM Saturday, February 27th, 2010 (Mountain Standard Time) using one of the following methods:

Make an online credit card contribution at kbaq.org
Submit your entry online at kbaq.org with or without a contribution.

All entries must include your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, and all other requested information.

Eligibility Restrictions

Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older.
KBAQ employees and their families are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest.
KBAQ Community Advisory Board members are not eligible to enter any KBAQ contest while in office.
Limit one entry per person.

Selection of Winner

KBAQ will randomly draw a winner and five alternates from all entries for each specific contest. The drawings will be conducted either during the pledge drive and winners will be announced on-air or winners will be drawn following the conclusion of the pledge drive on Wednesday, December 9th, 2009. The winners of all giveaways and contests will be announced on air and posted online at KBAQ.org. KBAQ will also notify the winners by phone and e-mail.

The winner must contact the KBAQ development department (480) 834-5627 to make arrangements to secure the prize(s). There is no purchase or donation necessary. Void where prohibited.

All decisions made by station management with regard to the prize, the selection of prizewinners, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Each entrant, by virtue of entering the contest, agrees to accept the decision of the station as final. Prizewinner need not listen or be present to win. KBAQ will notify prizewinner by phone or email. KBAQ is not responsible for any mechanical telephone error, failure or omission; lost or misdirected mail, faxes or e-mail; neglect on the part of the US Postal Service; or e-mail service disruption.

KBAQ reserves the right, at any time to award the prize to another eligible prizewinner, drawn at random, if the original prizewinner cannot make use of the prize or in the event that the original prizewinner does not meet eligibility requirements. If a prizewinner fails to accept the prize for any reason, KBAQ will not award a make-good prize. KBAQ will not provide replacements for a forfeited prize.

Conditions

Prizewinner accepts responsibility for all taxes, tips and other liabilities; including but not limited to transportation, lodging and other affiliated costs that may not be included in the prize package. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. By entering, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless KBAQ including all officers, directors, employees, volunteers and sponsors from all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in KBAQ's Fall Pledge Drive Giveaways and Contest promotion. KBAQ, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for tampering with the entry process or the operation of the KBAQ website as well as any person in violation of the rules.

Right to Make Changes

KBAQ reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

Responsibilities

KBAQ is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prize.

Copies of Contest Rules

Copies of the written contest rules will be available up to 30 days after the end of the contest at kbaq.org. You may also receive the rules by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to KBAQ, 2323 W. 14th Street Tempe, Arizona 85281.
